Shania Twain
Shania Twain uit Canada begon haar carrière als countryzangeres. Men haar 2e album The woman in me (1995) brak ze door, maar een echt mega-succes had ze met haar 3e album Come on over (1997), dat in Nederland 132 weken lang in de Album Top 100 stond. Hits als you're still the one, that don't impress me much en man! i feel like a woman! maakten van Shania een superster. Dit succes wist ze nooit meer te evenaren, al was het album Up uit 2002 nog goed voor hoge verkoopcijfers. Dit album werd in drie verschillende edities uitgebracht werd, namelijk een pop-, country- en wereldmuziekversie.
